 Positive body image is the cornerstone of self acceptance. Regardless of your actual size or shape, a poor body image, or negative perception of how you think you look erodes your self esteem and diminishes your involvement in life.
 
 Shifting from how we look to how we feel in our present bodies is an essential ingredient to changing your outer appearance. Rather than relying on Vogue, a friend or companion to determine our well being, we can learn to retain our own image of ourselves and to trust our bodies as reflections of our inner selves.
